This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use Extrappl, what we use it for, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. Extrappl is a product of OnYob.

1. Who is responsible for your data

OnYob, located at 201 W. 5th Street, Austin, Texas, United States, is responsible for the personal data we collect through Extrappl: this site, the platform, and our WhatsApp and Telegram channels.

2. What data we collect

When you leave your details on this site or by chat:

  • Your WhatsApp number or your email address.
  • Your trades.
  • Your ZIP code, or that you do not live in the United States.
  • The projects you were interested in and the language you use the site in.

When you sign in to the platform, also whatever you choose to add to your profile: name, experience, certifications, availability, photo and documents.

To keep a record of your consent we store the date, the version of the document you accepted, your IP address and the browser you used.

If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, browsing data as well: pages visited, device and approximate location.

3. What we use your data for

  • Contacting you about the projects you are interested in and about your process.
  • Showing you projects that match your trades.
  • Sending you codes to sign in to the platform and to confirm the contact is yours.
  • Sharing your profile with a project's company when you tell us you are interested.
  • Protecting the site against abuse and automated activity.
  • Understanding how the site is used and improving it, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Sending you new opportunities and projects, only if you ticked that box.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with:

  • The companies and contractors of the projects you showed interest in, so they can evaluate and contact you.
  • Providers that help us operate: cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), messaging (Meta, for WhatsApp), abuse protection (Cloudflare) and email delivery.
  • Analytics and advertising providers (Google, Meta and PostHog), only if you accepted those cookies.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account or an active request with us, and afterwards for as long as the law requires. The record of your consent is kept as evidence of what you accepted and when.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Correct it if it is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete it.
  • Object to a specific use, or withdraw your consent.
  • Stop sending you opportunities and projects.

Write to contact@extrappl.com from the contact you registered. We answer within 20 business days.

7. Cookies

This site stores in your browser your choice about cookies and, if you left your details, the contact you used, so we do not ask for it again.

Analytics and advertising cookies from Google, Meta and PostHog only turn on if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookies" link at the bottom of the page.

8. Minors

Extrappl is intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we will publish the new version on this page with its date. If the change is significant, we will ask you to accept it again.
